Elle Magazine gathered some of the most powerful and influential women in Washington D.C. Wednesday evening at their sixth annual Women in Washington Power List dinner, proving once again that the brand is more than just a fashion magazine.
The attendees, featured in the April issue, included women from both sides of the aisle, along with the Presidents of Planned Parenthood and BET, and the VP of FedEx, just to name a few. Philanthropists, lawyers, and chairwomen were also in attendance.
Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers said of the event, “The idea was to cross-pollinate women in powerful fields.” The meet and greet allows these women to gather and spark conversations. Myers explains “We’re interested in how women get their power, and how they use it once they get it.”
